About Sacred Heart Home Health Care
Sacred Heart came to be out of care, concern and the desire to help seniors stay in their own home. In 2008, a Kansas City, Kansas fireman had an opportunity to transport a gentleman that was being moved from a hospital to a long term care facility. As the fireman was moving the gurney into the vehicle for the transfer, an older gentleman looked up with tears in his eyes and begged to be moved home instead. It tugged so fiercely at this fireman's heart, he later made a decision to find a way of helping other seniors receive home health care in their own home. Thus, Sacred Heart Home Health Care was born.
Bob Belvins is the name of that caring fireman that took action to open this company. He made a commitment, even making it part of the company's Mission Statement, that Sacred Heart would provide superior quality health care for patient's that want to remain and recover at home. All the way from the hiring of the employee's, training of staff, continuing education in the healthcare field, he has led with the philosophy of doing what is right for the care of each patient. For many years, Bob was a servant of the community and now, retired from his fireman career as a Battalion Chief, has enabled him to devote ample time to seeing this dream, fulfilled completely.
It looks like the dream will continue to carry on with the love of helping others through his daughter, Jessica. Like her father, she had a desire to help seniors and has become a home health nurse herself. It is truly a calling when a company evolves from the love of helping people and will carry on from generation to generation.

Bob has been active in home health for 15 years and has built his agencies with people of skill, compassion and an overall desire to help seniors. His belief is that all seniors deserve honest and reliable care and the opportunity of receiving that care in their own home.
Marilyn Bakarich
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Marilyn has been in the healthcare industry for over 30 years. She trains and motivates her sales team by providing them ongoing training, support and the necessary marketing tools to succeed. She has lead and spoken at several sales conferences and promotes exceptional customer service in all areas of the business.
Dawn Kerwin
Director of Nursing
Regional Vice President
Dawn's heart of service to seniors began over 25 years ago. She has committed her nursing career to the caring of patients in the home environment, serving as a field nurse, hospital liaison, director and most recently, regional VP in Arizona. As a leader, she trains and motivates her teams to provide all patients with the quality of care and compassion they deserve.
